Alexandra Boiger was born in Munich, Germany. She studied Graphic Design at the Fachhochschule Augsburg.
Alexandra began a career in Feature Animation (including Warner Bros, UK and Dreamworks). Then she became a children's book illustrator and published children books such as : Roxie and the Hooligans, While Mama Had a Quick Little Chat, The Monster Princess, Thanks a Lot, Emily Post, Doctor All-knowing, The little Bit Scary People, and Mrs Piggle-Wiggle series.
Alexandra's drawing represents an orchestra of angels : she says it's because she is always sentimental around Christmas. Alexandra was the first person to have the sketchbook outside France.
