Claude William Trebutien was born in 1981 in Caen, France. After passing his A-levels with a major in Literature and a minor in English, he attended for a year the Caen’s Beaux Arts classes. Unsatisfied with the average level of the teaching he then got at a Brussels’s school, he produced a home-made traditional animated movie that should be his key to the prestigious school Les Gobelins in Paris.
He co-directed “Burning Safari”, he worked as animator on cgi movies such as « Nine » and « Rio ». He is currently based in New York, doing 2D and 3D animation, as well as visual development.
Claude-William was inspired by the Musée d'Histoire Naturelles in Paris and his drawing represents his vision of the evolution.
