Who is Peter de Sève ?

Peter de Sève was born in Queens, New York in 1958. He drew a lot as a child, before joining the prestigious Parsons School of Design.

Career

Peter's illustrations and character designs are known throughout the world. His work spans three decades and various media, from magazines to animated feature films. Best recognized for his many New Yorker covers and his character design for the Ice Age series (including international icon "Scrat"), Peter also contributed to Mulan, A Bug's Life and Finding Nemo. He lives in Brooklyn and recently published in collaboration with his wife Randall, "The Duchess of Whimsy", his first children's book.

Peter was under a lot of pressure when he draw his piece : not only everyone was eager to see his contribution, but also he already had the sketchbook in his hands twice. His great and funny piece expresses perfectly his feelings.
