Tomer Hanuka was born in 1974 in Israel, and moved to New York in 1996 to join the School of Visual Arts.
Tomer quickly became a regular contributor to many magazines. He created Biploar, an experimental comic book series, with his twin brother Asaf. Waltz With Bashir, an animated documentary for which Tomer contributed art, was nominated for an Oscar in 2009, and won the Golden Globe that same year.
Tomer Hanuka's piece represents two character : a girl in levitation, and a boy with a gun.
